An Austrian pop rock band founded in 1977. The band’s lyricist and composer is the guy with the red guitar. Their songs were often understood as pure joke songs. The band themselves blamed the commercial success of individual songs torn from the overall context of an album for this misunderstanding. In fact, they repeatedly offended with their political statements. The group’s engagement against right-wing extremists and right-wing violence was strong. On September 14, 2019, they gave their last concert in the Wiener Stadthalle.
